Tin climbing monkey (non working) with flocked jacket. Founded in September 1881 as Blechspielwaren-Fabrik von Lehmann & Eichner in Brandebourg, Germany, by Ernst Paul Lehmann. Known for mass producing, clever, simple and sturdy toys. Still in existence under the LGB name and maker of legendary G-scale trains. Later the brand was called Brand Ernst Paul Lehmann Patentwerk and then evolved to simply Lehmann.
