It comes in an Original Period Frame and it is unsigned. Exhibited at the 60th Annual Rochester Art Club in 1942. Walter Sacks was born October 30, 1901 in Philadelphia, PA. Lived in Rochester, Conesus, and Caledonia, NY. Largely self-taught. He emphasized good perspective and effective use of light. Painted Quebec, Rockport, and Western New York. He belonged to the Genesee Artists Group, Art League of Buffalo, Salmagundi Club, Rochester Art Club. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything.
