Summer leigh Lodge, at 152 Albert Road Healesville, was bought as the new home for the Corps School in 1951 and became the Army School of Health. Summer leigh Lodge was a large guesthouse built in the 1920s for travelers from Melbourne. The Lodge and surrounding mountains provided a suitable location, atmosphere and grounds to support army training activities. Further buildings were moved from Puckapunyal and Melbourne, including the Second World War Recruiting Depot in Royal Park and added to the grounds of the Summer leigh Lodge Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and bidder will be responsible for payment.
