WWI Original Navy Poster ENLIST IN THE NAVY G. Wright. "FOLLOW THE BOYS IN BLUE FOR HOME AND COUNTRY." Shows a long line of sailors boarding a battleship. At the end of the line is a group of men representing the diversity of Americans fighting. Workers, businessmen, sportsmen, farmers, etc. Nice image in background show the battleship and American flag. George Hand Wright was a member of the National Academy, and as an illustrator, he was a regular contributor to the Saturday Evening Post. Color plate by The Gill Engraving Co. NY. It is not linen backed. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. - Condition: Good Condition with a water stain on the bottom left corner and 5 tape marks (see pics). It has a foam board backer.
