Description:

Photograph by Donn E. Iogha, 177 Sawyer St. Rochester, NY. East Rochester Bowling Center was a favorite haunt for national champ Johnny Quinzi. Housed in the former George Ano’s Studebaker garage, the showroom was converted into bowling lanes by Joe Parrotta. Later John Quinzi and Sam DiDomenico ran the operation. The business was later bought by Betty and Bob Bock who changed the name to Bock’s Bowling and Cocktail Center. It was one of the many businesses torn down for urban renewal in the early 1970s.
