Tin litho wind-up by Automatic Toy Co. Staten Island c.1950. Extension has tin gun on swivel turret. Gun is loaded by pulling shooting rod to rear allowing metal ball to fall into gun barrel. Designed with a wind-up action which drives a cable holding a sequence of die-cut tin miniature stagecoach followed by four robbers on horseback. All fall backward if struck by ammunition ball. Targets have various point values. Foreground pictures Hoppy, Lucky, California with guns drawn. Toy is not working, key winds but does not produce any tension.
