Printed in the 1940's these prints measure 16.5" x 13" and are RARE. These are not giclee new prints like you see online and these are not the mini book size. The other version that is authentic is a larger size set. These prints were specific to help the War Effort and are US Bond related prints. Norman Rockwell, produced in 1943 from paintings Rockwell created to commemorate the Four Freedoms outlined by President Roosevelt in his 1941 State of the Union address. Roosevelt posited that everyone across the world should enjoy four basic freedoms: Freedom of Religion, Freedom From Want, Freedom From Fear and Freedom of Speech. Americans were so moved by these human freedoms that over $130 million dollars were raised in WWII bonds from display of Rockwells paintings. Norman Rockwells Four Freedoms artwork from 1943 are among his most well-known works. The Four Freedoms first appeared in the Saturday Evening Post and were so popular that the public requested reprints. In 1994 postage stamps of the artwork were released to celebrate Rockwells 100th birthday. The original Four Freedoms artwork has been part of several traveling exhibits since 1943 and is currently displayed at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Massachusetts.
