Has Schreiber 42 artist name & date and at bottom marked U.S. Government Printing 1943. This poster was made by the US air force to champion the work of pilots to the general American public. The poster shows a pilot as he gets ready to get into his cockpit and go to battle. The Japanese flags at the side of his plane represent the number of kills he has. The poster encourages the general public to buy war bonds. These war bonds were used by the government to raise money to support the war effort. War bonds were debt securities issued by the government during the war, they allowed people to save and also gave money to the government.
