From the Wilsons signature series patented date of 1941, is a right-handed fielders mitt. The leather is still soft and was well oiled during its lifetime. Shows some expected wear to trim but makes a great display. Henry (Hank) John Sauer was an American professional baseball player, coach and scout. He appeared in 1399 career games as a left fielder starting for the Cincinnati Reds in 1941 and later with the Chicago Cubs, and New York Giants.
