Description:

This 1936 game board by Parker Brothers, Salem, Massachusetts, features the big eyed performer and singer-songwriter of the Depression Era, Eddie Cantor, "Tell it to the Judge". The 19-3/4" square board opens to display the automobile pathway from the "Garage" to the "Club" superimposed over a screened caricature of Cantor's face. Themed games were all the rage, and this popular entertainer with his wonderful humor was an ideal person to endorse one of Parker Brothers' many games. Along the way, Eddie Cantor was responsible for instituting the "March of Dimes" and wrote the Warner Bros. theme song, "Merrily we Roll Along". Game board only.
