Green stick with bulldog head is Palmyra fair Sept. 30, 1939. The other cane has no markings. Carnival canes are collectible souvenir prizes with origins around the early 1900s, primarily made in Germany and later Japan. They feature brightly painted wooden or bamboo dowels, often topped with novelty ceramic figurines such as dogs, clowns, or dice. These canes were a popular giveaway at traveling carnivals, amusement parks, and fairs from the early 20th century until the late 1950s.   • Dimensions: Green cane is 34.5" long and the white cane is 32.25" long.
  • Condition: Very Good Condition, There doesn't seem to be any chips or cracks on either head. There is some paint loss on the dowels.
