It has some color. Surveyed for Samuel Street from original survey by Chas de Krafft. This map was from the estate of James Wadsworth. Geneseo: " The town was established in 1789, before the formation of Livingston County. The settlement of Geneseo by the colonists began shortly after the arrival of James and William Wadsworth in 1790. The brothers came to the Genesee Valley from Connecticut as agents of their uncle, Colonel Jeremiah Wadsworth, to care for and sell the land he had purchased. The Wadsworth's were participants in the negotiations of the Treaty of Big Tree between Robert Morris and the Seneca's at the site of Geneseo in 1797. It shows Gerundigut Bay which we believe is present day Irondequoit Bay and Geneseo River (Genesee River). The land owners shown are R. Morris (Robert Morris On March 12, 1791 he contracted with Massachusetts to purchase a portion of Western New York west of the Genesee River[32][33] for $666,666.66.[34] The land, which had been a substantial portion of the Phelps and Gorham Purchase, was conveyed to Morris in five deeds on May 11, 1791. A partner of Morris in the Phelps and Gorham Purchase was land speculator James Greenleaf.); Samuel Street, S. Ogden, B. Barton, Etc..
