Native American Artist Urshel Taylor of Scottsdale AZ. He actually had roots in two different tribes, the Ute and the Pima. Taylor was the recipient of the Arizona Living Treasure Award, presented by the Governor of Arizona in the 1990’s. His work has been exhibited at the Arizona State Museum of Art. He did have an early connection to Utah State University. He was also a member of the LDS faith.
