Long inscription from the author, signed as Powers as well as her Seneca name, given to her by members of the Seneca nation; the name translates : "The One Who Carries and Tells the Stories". A writer, lecturer, feminist, and pacifist, Powers was best known as an advocate for Native American history and culture, particularly of the Iroquois. It contains 223.
