Description:

This is a Museum Quality Artifact. This is the story from the owner who resides in Hawaii: The vase was owned by her in-laws' uncle's family. The day before Hiroshima was bombed, the family who owned the vase were in the process of moving from their home. They got tired, so they stayed in their home that night in Hiroshima. Early the next morning, the bomb was dropped. Some members of the family got to Hiroshima to look for them and all they found in the area of their relatives' home was the vase, which they recognized as being from the home. The vase was passed to relatives and ultimately ended with the present owner in Hawaii.
