Description:

It was used by J.E. Hale in his studio. Ca 1880s-1890s model with Otis C. White's name and patent on the cast iron frame. O.C. White was a dentist by trade and this model is merely an evolution of his groundbreaking dentist's chair. The adjustable ball-and-socket joints were keys to the success of both products, and White's company survived throughout the 20th century by adapting them for use in desk lamps and work lamps.
