Lot 79
Peters and Reed Landsun is a highly collectible line of American art pottery introduced in 1918 in Zanesville, Ohio. It is widely celebrated for its distinctive, hand-blended matte glazes that mimic natural landscapes, swirling sky blues, mossy greens, sunsets, and earthy tans. Because each piece was hand-painted with metallic oxides before firing, no two Landsun items look exactly alike. Most Landsun pieces are smooth. However, the factory occasionally applied Landsun glazes over molds featuring raised or incised detailing (such as concentric bands or base patterns).Identification & Marks: These ceramics are almost completely unmarked Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and the bidder will be responsible for payment.
