Charles Magnus (16 March 1826 – 3 May 1900) was a printing entrepreneur, whose business was based in New York, NY. Magnus is known for his color lithographs of city views, song sheets, maps and patriotic illustrations for stationery and covers during the American Civil War. Gustav Georg Lange (born January 6, 1812 in Darmstadt , died probably 1873 ibid) was a German bookseller , printer, publisher and draftsman. He operated a publishing house specialized in illustrated topographies with a printing company in Darmstadt.
