Description:

The Victor II started out as the "Victor E" model in 1901, and then was transitioned to Victor II nomenclature around 1905 when the tapered arm was first used, but there was some overlap in production with the E Model series. Selling for $30.00, it featured a single-spring motor, a brass horn, and a tapered tonearm (after 1905). The cabinet was made of oak, somewhat larger than the Victor I. Approximately 125,000 of these phonographs were produced. The Victor Talking Machine Company “VIC II” - 1907 (Little History) The Victor Talking Machine Company ( 1901 – 1929 ) was an American corporation, the leading American producer of phonographs and phonograph records and one of the leading phonograph companies in the world at the time. It was headquartered in Camden, New Jersey. This Victor II “VIC II” has a pretty quarter-spawn oak cabinet with original finish; sturdy, reliable double-spring motor is clean, well-regulated and powerful. This instrument represents the peak of the phonograph Victoria art piece.
