Charles DeForest Fredricks (December 11, 1823 – May 25, 1894) was an innovative American photographer. During the latter half of the decade he operated a studio in Havana. During the 1860s he operated a studio on Broadway that was noted for its cartes de visites. Fredricks learned the art of the daguerreotype in New York City from Jeremiah Gurney, while he worked as a case maker for Edward Anthony

  • Condition: Very Good Condition with some wear under the glass (see pics). The inside of the case at the binding is loose but intact
