Description:

It comes with the original article from 1988 showing the door and info about the artist. The painted door features lightning bolts, bombs and hands with screaming mouths in the palms. "10-day mural art project begins Friday in Rochester": In the 80s, Michael Maier spent his nights in Rochester painting elaborate graffiti-style murals on the walls of Genesee Valley Park. Known as "Change," the Rochester Institute of Technology grad in 1985 hooked up with another local graffiti artist who works under the pseudonym "Pose2," and the duo worked together for years in Rochester, adding bright murals to city streets and inside the old subway tunnels. Very little of Maier's work from the 1980s is still visible in Rochester. Almost all of it has been painted over. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything.
