They come in the original boxes. In 1947 General Motors first unveiled the streamlined F3 diesel locomotive. Just one year later, Lionel introduced its own version of this famous engine, the first diesel Lionel ever gambled to manufacture. One of the companys most memorable and best-selling locomotives ever, the Lionel F3 remained in the line until 1966. It comes from a large collection that was consigned. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. Please ask specific questions on details or condition prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS. We box and ship to keep costs low. We do not use a packaging service, unless the costumer prefers us to use them. We can ship either USPS or UPS
