Bernard "Bernie" Gerstner was a popular Rochester and Gloucester, MA. artist Bernie Gerstner, 91, He lived in Rochester until 1976 when they moved to Gloucester, establishing a well known art gallery on Rocky Neck. A member of Rochester Art Club and Suburban Art Club, Bernie also became a member of Northshore Art Association, Salmagundi Club, Whiskey Painters of America, and Rockport Art Association. He was proud of his WWII service aboard the USS Hornet in the Pacific. Bernie will be remembered for his beautiful paintings as well as the help and inspiration he imparted to his many Rochester and Gloucester painting students. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. Please ask specific questions on details or condition prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS. We box and ship to keep costs low. We do not use a packaging service, unless the costumer prefers us to use them. We can ship either USPS or UPS
