It is marked on the blade (see pics) but can't make out the info. The brass hilt was cast with acanthus leaves, and other floral designs on the branches of the guard and quillon. Also peacock flower spread on the upper tip. Pommel features 1840 Phrygian helmet pattern. Double twisted grip wire is loose. The 35" blade is typical of a M1860 saber. Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and the bidder will be responsible for payment. We box and ship what we can to keep costs low, and use USPS and UPS. Large items, extremely fragile, and high value items will be packed by UPS. Quotes available on request
