TITLE OF MAP: 'Huntingdonshire divided into its hundreds containing the Burough & market towns, rivers, roads, distances & c. by Eman Bowen Geogr. to His Majesty's. Cartographer: Emmanuel Bowen (Clerkenwell, c.1698 - 1767) was appointed engraver of maps to George II and Louis XV. His meticulous work extracted a high price; he went practically blind and ended his days in poverty. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything.
