C.E. Ward Company, New London, Ohio. It has the members name inside. These hats are carefully crafted with a beaver fur base and topped with brilliant white ostrich feathers. The hat was crafted by the C.E. Ward company in New London, Ohio. This company was well known for being a large producer of lodge regalia. This hat was tailored specifically for former member Edward R. O'Brien. The C.E. Ward company was founded in 1891 by Clyde E. Ward along with another business partner. In the early 1900's the two split up and Clyde Ward began expanding his business for all types of regalia including swords, hats, robes, lanterns, and other lodge type items.
