Description:

It is marked on the underside. This is a rare and very collectible Muskota piece from Weller from the 1915's-1920's. The Muskota line began production around 1915 and is made up of mostly floral pieces. The line is highly varied and quite amusing and includes everything from Victorian lady covered boxes, to large & extremely rare garden figures. The pieces are most unusual: it seemed they offered an endless variety of figures and flower frogs for sale. The frogs are decorated with swans, dragonflies, birds, women, children, fish, etc. Some are simply glazed and molded, while others are ornately decorated. The variety makes it a very collectible & the wide range of pieces makes it accessible to all buyers, and sought-after by even the most discriminating.
