This family album contains 48 Tintypes and many are hand tinted. They span Civil War era through Victorian time. Most are 1/6th plate size and many have photographer J.C. Batchelder, back-stamp from Nashua, New Hampshire. The red leather album measures 6.5” x 5.5” and retains the original clasp. Further research might reveal this prominent family as there is a gift inscription dated 1881. Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and the bidder will be responsible for payment. We box and ship what we can to keep costs low, and use USPS and UPS. Large items, extremely fragile, and high value items will be packed by UPS. Quotes available on request
