A hand colored engraving/print depicting an east view of Mount Vernon after the painting by William Henry Bartlett, and printed by James Tibbits Willmore, circa 1839. The mansion is at the top right up on a grassy hill. In the foreground we see a woman in a red dress who is playing with a dog and a woman with a yellow shawl along side a gentleman. Also a child faces away from the viewer gesturing to a man standing to the right of the group. There is a couple standing in the doorway of the mansion, and boats pass by along the Potomac River in the background. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. Please ask specific questions on details or condition prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS. We box and ship to keep costs low. We do not use a packaging service, unless the costumer prefers us to use them. We can ship either USPS or UPS
- Dimensions: The image measures 7.5" X 4.75" and is housed in a wood and velvet antique frame under glass that measures 13" X 11".
- Condition: Print is excellent, frame shows wear expected due to age. Not examined out of frame.
