The case is marked WC and hallmarked by English silversmith William Comyns & Sons. The firm was established in 1859 by William Comyns, who apprenticed with George J. Richards. He purchased the premises of Robert Tagg (who had association with Rundell, Bridge & Co) in 2 Carlisle Street, Soho, London and entered his first mark. Williams sons Charles Harling Comyns and Richard Harling Comyns were partnered in 1885 and the firm entered the mark William Comyns & Son, where the family worked together to build their already established reputation and inventory. The Comyns high attention to detail and intricate designs enabled them to be retailed through the worlds finest retailers, including: Tiffany & Co, The Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company and firms such as Henry Lewis and Howell & James of London. The case has a flip out easel back to stand up. - Dimensions: pocket watch diameter is 2.5" and the case is 4.25" x 6.25" tall.
- Condition: Good - Very Good Working Condition. The case has wear on the leather back from age and use. The bezel has some chipping on the left side (see pics)
