It is signed on the back by James Scott, Jr. Following the dedication of the Everett Memorial in the park square on May 31, 1917 (104 years ago) James "Jerry" Scott, Jr. is seen delivering the Gettysburg Address during Memorial Day ceremonies at the soldier's plot in Slate Hill Cemetery. Scott was born on March 9, 1863, and died in Goshen on December 31, 1939, at the age of 76. He was a member of the Village of Goshen Police Department and was chief of police in 1911. He also owned a harness and wagon shop on Webster Ave. Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and the bidder will be responsible for payment.
