Description:

original Stevengraph framed 12" bookmark silk ribbon with red tassel commemorating Abraham Lincoln issuing the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION in 1863. The ribbon was made by the Phoenix Silk Manufacturing Company in 1893, 31 years after the Great Emancipator issued the Proclamation. It was made for and sold at the World's Columbian Exposition (World's Fair) in Chicago, Illinois in 1893. It is missing the red tassel. Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and bidder will be responsible for payment.
