1882 walnut Parlor Clock made by the E.N. Welch Clock Company, Forestville, Conn., the 'Donita' model. Walnut case Original dial. Original glass. 8 day time & strike spring driven brass movement with alarm. The dial is 5" in diameter having roman numerals. Original fantastic carved crest on it. There is a nicely designed gilded artist, farmer and floral glass in the front door, and you can also see the pendulum swinging back and forth. The eight day movement is hour and half hour strike on a gong.
