This is a very detailed and vivid beach scene depicting all the activity one might see at a resort area. People are busy walking and there are boats with colorful sails, the wicker chairs are positioned perfectly. Dated on the reverse in pencil "Scheveningen, Sunday P.M., August 17, 1930". Unknown artist, yet additional research should be done as it is a superbly executed work. Most likely a French or European artist. This beach was made famous by Vincent Van Gogh who painted "Stormy Weather" at this site! We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. - Dimensions: Painted on 7.25" X 4.75" artist paper and lightly mounted to a 11" X 7.5" board.
- Condition: Colors are rich and bright. There are no rips or tears. Some light toning to paper in areas, otherwise excellent and is unframed
