This listing is for an antique book, "Life of Lincoln", written by John Carroll Power and published by H.W. Rokker, Chicago and Springfield, Ill., 1889. The title page states: "ABRAHAM LINCOLN: HIS LIFE, PUBLIC SERVICES, DEATH AND GREAT FUNERAL CORTEGE, with a history and description of the NATIONAL LINCOLN MONUMENT, with a appendix by John Carroll Power. The book was written for the young men and women in the United States of America, of all stations in life, this volume is most respectfully dedicated; with the earnest hope that they will adopt Abraham Lincoln as their model, and strive to conform their lives to his standard of Truthfulness, Honesty, and exalted Patriotism. It has the fold out map on page 192. We describe all items to the best of our ability as we are not experts on everything. Please ask specific questions on details or condition prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS. We box and ship to keep costs low.
