This is an early history in a "school edition" that treats the Civil War ("The Great Rebellion) and Lincoln's Administration in the last chapter only two years after the end of the war. It contains a nice map of U. S. that appears to be hand-colored in the frontis showing Indian Territory in what is now Oklahoma and no state of Wyoming. There are many maps, plans and other illustrations.
