Raleigh: Wm. E. Pell. Prohibition of Slavery: Ratified on October 9, 1865, this ordinance declared that slavery and involuntary servitude (except as criminal punishment) were "forever prohibited in this State". Please ask specific questions on details, condition, and shipping prior to bidding, ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD AS IS, and the bidder will be responsible for payment.
